I am always energized and awed by the beauty of the sea.  The sunsets are especially beautiful at the coast.  Having lived in the Monterey area for many years gave me the opportunity to paint many Marine and Coastal Scenes.  I still return there for subject matter and inspiration.

The joy of painting landscapes is a gift.  I am always amazed by the variety Nature presents and the deep spiritual feelings I get when painting on location.  I am so Thankful that I am a Painter and for the opportunities I have to describe what I see and feel.

Painting Figures is a wonderful challenge and has given me opportunity to come to know other peoples of the World.  The beauty of faces and ethnic costumes is enchanting to me and some of my favorite subjects are from other countries.

Whenever I want a break and to just paint something lovely I set up a Floral.  Natures has provided everything and decorated it with flowers in my opinion. 

Paintings in this group represent many countries that I have had the opportunity to paint in. Venice and China are two of my favorite destinations, both are rich in history, color and ethnic variety.

I love animals and painting them is great fun.  Capturing the color, movement  and expression of their personality is always a challenge.

Maui abounds with painting opportunities and soul healing qualities.  I love it there and spend more and more time on the Island.
